2 NOT KEEPING CREW HYDRATED
The body’s greatest tool for overcoming heat is sweat. But in order to produce enough sweat to cool our bodies, we need to stay properly hydrated. That means we have to take enough water. This is not usually the case with the crew on site. They usually take alcoholic drinks while working. So to be safe, ensure your team takes frequent water. A hydrated crew is a happy, healthy and productive one
3 RELYING ON AN INEFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Long gone are days of abacuses and spreadsheets when it comes to taking account of finances. The contractor should look for an accounting software for construction projects to help lower risk and enhance reporting which will boost the bottom-line.
4 HIRING THE WRONG PEOPLE
Hiring the wrong people is something inevitable. Many contractors always hire people they don’t know anything about nor their morals. Thus, it usually facilitates failure because the out result usually bad because some end up stealing and so on.
5 RELYING ON MANUAL PROCESSES
Worse than outdated software or solutions are nor designed for construction is no software platforms at all. Manal processes at timed intensive spreadsheet and legacy technology slow down the construction processes. They prevent you from keeping up with your competition
